"Coconuts has been dialing up the flavor on some seafood favorites for anyone who comes through the front door. Not only is it a local favorite for mouthwatering dishes such as the generously seasoned conch fritters and tasty Mahi tacos, but it has also been named the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, according to New York Times reader’s choice awards. Don’t take their word for it, though."
"Here, diners can indulge in specialty cocktails, shareable snacks, and made-from-scratch entreesas boats cruise by the dock. Coconuts is a popular place for outdoor dining, and with epic sunsets and uninterrupted views, it’s easy to see why."
"With autumn upon us and winter on the way, eating outside in South Florida becomes a more pleasant experience. So, what better time to pay a visit to Coconuts, one of Ft. Lauderdale's premier waterfront restaurants."
"Located in Kimpton's Epic Hotel, this restaurant's setting affords skyline views of both Miami (to the north and west) and Biscayne Bay (to the east and south) that guests find truly breathtaking--that is, if they aren't too focused on the incredible cuisine. Executive Chef Wolfgang Birk gleans most of his seafare--items such as jumbo lump crab salad with spicy seared watermelon, heirloom tomato, avocado, mint and basil or yellowfin tuna with mixed grains, smoked black beans, shrimp guacamole and ginger juice--either locally or from the region of the ocean for which the restaurant is named, Area 31, one of the only self-sustaining spots that is said to be left in the ocean. Meat and pasta dishes are just as delicious and contain sustainable items from nearby farms and other trusted sources."
"Perched 16 floors high inside the EPIC Hotel in Downtown Miami, this longtime restaurant still has some of the best views of Miami's Downtown skyline in the city. Whether going for its popular happy hour or for a seafood feast, grab a seat on its outdoor patio and soak up the views."

"Bars Cocktail bars Brickell. It’s the longest ride to the top of any rooftop restaurant in Miami (40 floors up!), but Sugar’s Downtown views—and East Miami’s ‘grammable galactic elevators—make it all worth it. Pockets of Asian-inspired gardens help set the Zen mood, though it’s the flowing breeze that’ll really put you at ease."
"Do these tangy, spicy wings taste nearly as good without a complete panoramic view of Miami from the 40th floor?. Find out as Sugar offers this plus the rest of its menu for delivery. Cool off from all the spice with the Audi and Ramsa ice creams, which are made with various types of alcohol."
"Located in Brickell City Centre's EAST Miami, Sugar was just named to Condé Nast's 10 Best Rooftop Bars in the United States."
"Most people only come to Rok Brgr for their juicy and outrageous burgers, but also be sure to check out their Sunday brunch. Whoever thought of serving mac and cheese as a breakfast dish is an evil genius and I salute them for it."
"If you’re looking for a lit brunch with a live DJ, unlimited alcohol, and dancing – then Tap42 is the place to be. They offer Bottomless Brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 3pm with $25 unlimited Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Funky Buddha Floridian beer. Load up on some food to soak in all those sparkly drinks."
"Tap 42 has interesting cocktails, wine and beer on the drink menu. The ambience is trendy yet casual, and the food is traditional bar fare, and it is delicious!. This is a good place to check in to any time, whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner."
"Fernando was really nice and polite, he wasn't my waiter, but continued to check on me and make sure I had everything needed. He also took all the t..."
"With locations throughout Miami (as well as one outpost in Aventura), Pubbelly Sushi is a local favorite in the city since 2011. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients to craft inventive rolls, like the Araña and the Heat, as well as delectable Latin fusion items like tostones con ceviche and Korean bravas (a Spanish potato dish updated with kimchi, cilantro aioli and crispy garlic). Cocktails are strong here and the dessert menu is creative, though we won’t judge if you just go for the traditional mochi ice cream."
"Fear not, Tiger King fans, the Pubbelly boys didn’t make this Netflix-themed roll out of spoiled Walmart meat and meth. Instead, it’s got shrimp tempura, king crab, and spicy tuna -- topped with masago, foie gras, avocado, chives, spicy mayo, eel sauce, and possibly a pending cease-and-desist order.Cost: $18; order delivery through Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, and Uber Eats"

"Fort Lauderdale's rich history for African-Americans is presented in this inspiring museum. Many of the honors that are due to pioneers in the African-American community in Broward County are not recorded, but it is here through exhibits and lectures and special events that visitors and locals can learn more of this interesting and exciting chapter of local history. Built in 1924, this was the region's lone African-American school for children during segregation."
"The Barnacle Historic State Park offers an opportunity to relax in a serene atmosphere. Also, there are a few beautiful boutiques (The Showroom, First Flight Out, Nikki's Beachouse Boutique) on Commodore Plaza -beach style clothes, cosy decoration, design accessories. Fringed by trees and cafés with terraces, this district has a cool Caribbean vibe going on."
"At this 5-acre gem in Coconut Grove is the oldest home in its original location in Miami-Dade County (1891), which once housed Ralph Middleton Munroe, an American yacht designer. You'll also see plenty of mesmerizing Spanish moss. A post shared by @lizz_ax3 on Feb 26, 2017 at 2:42pm PST"
"There are good cookies and then there are cookies you would brave traffic for. Cindy Lou’s is the latter, offering a selection of gooey, delicious options (like butterscotch walnut and lemon cloud) that are guaranteed to be some of the tastiest you’ll ever try. But the best part has to be the passionate baker, Cindy Kruse, who can be found spreading her baked-goods gospel all over Miami."
"The ultimate sweet spot in Little River, Cindy Lou’s Cookies, guests can order individual cookies, cakes, brownies, bars, and more for a sugar rush that’s bound to last all day. Cindy Lou is also sending boxes of cookies to hospitals around the city and taking donation orders, and with each donation she will match cookie for cookie and handle delivery.
