"Remember when your school would get a new kid, and that new kid was cool and handsome and almost instantly more popular than you?. Lucali is like that. This place rolled into town one day from New York with a reputation for making some of the best pizza in the world."

"A classic fish-fry joint in Flagler, La Camaronera is a popular restaurant among the locals. It is an affordable venue that served no-frill crowd-pleasers, such as fried shrimp and conch fritters. Some of the dishes on the menu are inspired by Cuban favorites, and there is the option to have fried fish and seafood served in various ways or alongside a variety of accompaniments."
"For another variation on the Cuban sandwich theme, pay a visit to La Camaronera. The Garcia family opened a fish market in Miami in the 1960s; about 10 years later they added fryers to cook and serve some of their catch on site. You could only eat standing at a counter, but a few months ago they finally installed chairs and tables."

"Choose from a selection of fresh fish, then add coconut jasmine rice or cilantro quinoa and a handful of sauces like aji amarillo, rocoto or tradicional (a mix of lime juice and avocado). It’s the biggest, tastiest (and most affordable) bowl of fresh fish you’ll ever eat. Multiple locations; myceviche.com"
"During the course of nearly a decade MyCeviche has expanded to multiple locations and much more than just ceviche. The counter service restaurant serves ceviche bowls, burritos, and toasts piled high with choice of fish, shrimp, chicken, and newly added filet mignon. View this post on Instagram"
"They serve it in a variety of ways: tacos, burritos, ceviche, and salads. You can also get chicken here. They have multiple locations."
"Not only does he do Thai, Japanese and Chinese flavors in this pan-Asian cafe, he likes to add in Filipino, Taiwanese, Korean and a blend of original interpretations that Miamians can only label "yum." So while it's difficult to perhaps pinpoint all his influences in some dishes, such as the crispy almond snapper in the saffron-soba broth, it's also hard to really care. From appetizers like the wild mushroom salad with cilantro-ginger dressing to the Filipino rice bowl topped with pork, a sunny-side-up egg and pickles, it's a veritable bonanza of playful Asian flavors. Complementing the fare, Teh also serves authentic bubble teas, house-made sodas, and a select sake and wine list."
"Located a few blocks north of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables is Gusto Fino Italian Deli Café, is one of my favorite sandwich shops in the city. Serving a variety of classic Italian dishes and hot and cold sandwiches, the casual café, also offers a limited beer and wine list, as well as a breakfast menu. You’ll find delicious offerings like a classic New York Reuben sandwich or a hot pastrami sub."
"Ted’s Burgers is a new smash burger pop-up operating out of Wynwood’s J. Wakefield on Saturdays at 2pm and Sundays at noon until sold out. We already stopped by to try one, and loved every bite of the extremely smashed smash burger."
"ShenandoahLook, if you want wood-fired, Neapolitan, topped-with-oysters-and-golden-truffle pizza, Miami’s got plenty of options. But if you want pizza that’s the stuff you remember eating immediately after your little league games and tastes like a simpler time, there is only Cassola’s. And while those slices might have seemed monstrous when you were a kid, they still look gargantuan today, and a $5 cheese slice is enough for a full meal."
"Big, saucy, greasy, and cheesy, a pizza pie any other way wouldn't be baked at Casola's. The pizza place tucked between Little Havana and Coconut Grove has fattened neighborhood rugrats and late-night bar-hoppers looking for a sobering slice for 21 years. The pizza slices are huge, New York style, and come in pairs for $2.85."
"At this local spot hungry diners can find slices of pizza as big as their head for under $5 along with inexpensive sandwiches and huge chicken wings. Available for takeout and outdoor dining. View this post on Instagram"

"Restaurants Cuban West Little Havana. Versailles—the famous Cuban bakery that needs no introduction—has a bakery next door to its buzzing restaurant, where a steady stream of Miamians buys pastelitos pretty much all day. Taking a break from the sugar?"
"Because honestly, where else would you get a guava pastelito that tastes this good?. 3555 SW Eighth St.; 305-444-0240 or versaillesrestaurant.com. Photo courtesy of True Loaf"

"A self-guided trail that showcases a hardwood hammock ecosystem, the Gumbo Limbo Trail is accessible from the Royal Palm Visitor Center. At approximately .4 miles (.64 km), the Gumbo Limbo Trail is a short stroll, but grants a glimpse into a very distinct eco system of the Everglades.Illustrating how a few inches of elevation can create a whole new world, the Gumbo Limbo Trail wanders through a hardwood hammock ecosystem, notably different from the saw grass prairie that can be seen on the neighboring Anhinga Trail. While the saw grass prairie disappears underwater each year, the hardwood hammock is a tree island in a sea of grass, allowing tropical flora to flourish, including palms, strangler figs and the trail’s namesake, the Gumbo Limbo tree."
"Gumbo Limbo Trail: This is an easy rated short 0.4-mile (0.64 km) loop trail that provides views of the Everglades ecosystem. It is a quick outing with views of the lake as well."
