The Ten Best South Beach Restaurants
"Located in the historic MIMO district of Miami and open for lunch and dinner, Blue Collar is a cozy restaurant that serves American comfort food in a casual setting. Owner/Executive Chef Daniel Serfer opened Blue Collar with the aim of serving the kind of food that he has always loved to eat in an inviting atmosphere, and he has succeeded in doing just that. If you are looking for romantic date night ideas in Miami, this is a great place to visit."
"American , Diner"
"Michael Schwartz’s eatery sits directly on Biscayne Bay and showcases stunning views that can be seen from the expansive patio area. But even when the weather turns sour, most of the seats are covered and the menu is still worth checking out filled with items like its short rib empanadas, yucca cheese puffs, grilled red snapper, and its surf-and-turf parradilla."
"This is a waterfront restaurant that offers authentic Latin American fare, and an extensive selection of wine and spirits, and delicious cocktails. The ambience is trendy, classy and intimate. They are kiddo and dog-friendly."
"Restaurants Fusion Design District"
"La Sandwicherie features daily fresh ingredients, crisp baguettes or soft croissants and the added magic of the infamous vinaigrette that make for a true taste sensation. They’re also open every day from 7am to 5am so whether you’re wanting a lunch or you’re needing an after-bar snack La Sandwicherie has you covered!"
"It’s hard to go wrong at this South Beach sandwich mecca, but after a morning of sun and waves, we find ourselves craving this summery combo of turkey, Brie and avocado. Now available for delivery and take-out. 229 14th St., 305-532-8934; lasandwicherie.com"
"Grab a massive sandwich from this French-themed sandwich shop that is seemingly open all hours of the day, with multiple locations, for under $10. Offering takeout, delivery, and outdoor dining depending on location. View this post on Instagram"
"The last time I was in Miami Beach, we ended up at Lucali after spending all the day in the sun by the pool. We had to wait a little to get a seat, but it ended up being the most satisfying meal and just the boost I needed for the night!. It’s a simple menu with only 6 toppings available for your pizza and a few salads, but that is all you need!"
"Pizza is the ultimate comfort food, and one of Miami’s best pizzerias, which famously boasts long waits, is still serving up its Neapolitan style pies daily — sans wait."
"This might be one of the best Mexican restaurants in Miami, and that’s saying a lot considering we’ve got some fire tacos in these parts. They’ve got it all: tacos al pastor, quesadillas, enchiladas. Most importantly, their guac game is ON POINT. If you’re feelin’ particularly famished, there’s always the burrito grande, a grilled burrito stuffed with chicken or steak, rice, refried beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, crema Mexicana, and of course, that guacamole."
"Happy Wine Little Havana, a wine store turned Spanish tapas-inspired eatery, a place where you can stock up on your wine and also enjoy a reasonably priced bottle (or two) while dining. Easily one of my favorite hole-in-the-walls, Happy Wine has a warm, local atmosphere, quirky barrel tables, tasteful décor, and lovely service. That combined with the incredible food, a stellar wine list, an unpretentious vibe, make for a winning combo."
"Restaurants Spanish West Miami. The West Miami shop has built a reputation on selling a diversity of great, cheap Spanish wine, but its tapas menu doesn’t fall far behind in value. Case in point: its selection of nine panini sandwiches offered at just $8."
"The gist:Fooq owner David Foulquier slings Brooklyn-style and Sicilian pies in his restaurant’s old downtown space. The Barstool guy approves. The food: Though taking pizza advice from a guy running a sports website makes about as much sense as living by restaurant ratings from a tire company, Dave Portnoy absolutely got this one right. The pizza he called “the best stuff I’ve had” is a crispy-crusted, wood-fired Brooklyn-style pie that immediately became a contender for best in the city."
"The Downtown restaurant Fooq’s is now Eleventh Street Pizza. This is, like, their third pandemic pivot - all of which have been really delicious (especially the short-lived pasta concept, Da Lida). So, it wasn’t a huge surprise when Eleventh Street Pizza, which serves New York Style pies to-go, turned out to be great."
"We certainly wouldn’t be mad if Miami got itself a few more solid dim sum options - but until that day comes, you can find us at Tropical Chinese pointing to random plates being pushed through the dining room on carts the size of baby elephants. This Bird Road favorite is where you’ll find Miami’s best dim sum and a roast pork bun we occasionally dream about. Dim sum is served seven days a week until 3:30pm."
"A post shared by Tropical Chinese Restaurant (@tropicalchinesemiami) on Jul 21, 2018 at 9:36pm PDT. Another of the critics’ favorites in Miami is Tropical Chinese Restaurant. The main reason for them to like this place is the excellent flavor and selection of dim sum."
"It’s all about holistic wellness at Esencia, one of Miami’s top-rated spas right now. Guests at Nobu Hotel are welcome to take advantage of spa facilities including whirlpools, plunge pools, saunas, hydro-experience showers and the relaxation lounge, which has floor-to-ceiling windows with resort and ocean views. Each treatment here begins and ends with the Nobu Stretching Ritual to awaken the body, mind and spirit and another perk is that Florida residents receive 25 percent off spa treatments, excluding salon services and retail items."
"The Miami location of world-famous Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's chain of restaurants was once inside the Shore Club, but now enjoys a permant place within the Nobu Hotel (now part of the renowned Eden Roc). But despite it's short move a few blocks away, you'll quickly notice Nobu still retains its reputation top notch cuisine as well as being the preferred sushi spot of local celebs. If it's your first time, don't be shy."
"Nobu Hotel blends modern Eden Roc architecture with contemporary Japanese architecture to make an unforgettable oceanfront hotel. The Nobu Hotel is a perfect hub for fun, theatre and luxury. Nobu Hotel is a blend of two hotels at one address, with accommodations that are spacious and modern, where guests can take their pick of standard studio rooms or deluxe luxury suites."

"Teach kiddos about contemporary art and get outside at the same time by perusing the city’s colorful and creative murals."
"Their burger has not one, but two patties and it’s also topped with some of the best bacon I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. The sinner’s sundae is one not to be missed. You bet you’ll have to whip out your stretchy pants afterward."
"Miami is in the midst of a rooftop revolution, with a bounty of new spots to check out. One of our favorites is Terras, a tropical space in Little Havana with unparalleled views of the downtown skyline. Besides the gorgeous location, Terras offers a roster of veggie-forward urban street food from Latin America."
"This Lincoln Road café and restaurant brings a classic Italian coffee experience to Miami Beach. Stop by to get your daily cappuccino or macchiato, or try our favorite, the Caffe Shakerato (espresso shaken with ice, sugar, and your choice of liqueur). And don't forget to come back for aperitivo from 4-6pm on weekdays when Segafredo serves complimentary small bites for those ordering drinks."
"Enjoy the hustle and bustle of Lincoln Road at Segafredo L’Originale. Outdoor tables open up onto the pedestrian mall, so your kids have plenty of room to play. Sip a cool drink to beat the heat, and delight your little ones with fresh pizza or mini burgers."
