"In Biscayne Bay, you’ll find the PAMM – the Pérez Art Museum Miami (pictured above), spearheaded by the billionaire real estate developer and collector Jorge M. Pérez – in an impressive 2013 building designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron. Today, the museum, which actually began as a historical association in 1940 (George Merrick and Marjory Stoneman Douglas were members) continues to offer the exhibits that were developed throughout the previous decades, along with new ones."
