Best restaurants in Miami, USA
"Forget everything you think you know about coffee and donuts. The Salty Donut, with multiple locations, serves up some of the most innovative donuts and coffee in Miami. The family-owned Salty Donut focuses on artisanal donuts made in small-batches and 100% from-scratch."
"If you eat out regularly in Miami, chances are you’ve eaten something from Zak the Baker. Lots of local spots source bread from this Wynwood institution, where everything’s 100% Kosher and delicious. The menu changes every day based on the ingredients at hand, but you can always count on some amazing naturally leavened bread and heavenly handmade pastries (the sandwiches are great, too)."
"Zak Stern has found overwhelming success with this kosher café in Wynwood. Having started as an artisanal baker pedalling sourdough loaves at farmers' markets, Zak now has a loyal following, with a line out the door at lunchtime. In addition to his comforting baked goods, the café serves daily sandwich, soup, salad and quiche specials."
"Located in Wynwood, Fireman Derek’s World Famous Pies serves up some of the most delicious pies around, with flavors like chocolate peanut butter, brown butter pie, and s’mores. They also have a killer guava cheesecake, red velvet cake, and serve lunch pies, including their infamous mac and cheese pie. If you’re in the mood for some seriously savory pies, you’re going to have to hit this spot in the vibrant streets of Miami’s arts district."
"Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop is available for both take out and delivery using UberEats and Postmates selling popular items like brownie bomb pie, chocolate peanut butter pie, cookie monster pie, carrot cake, and coconut guava cake, and more. Pro tip: order a cake sampler that features five flavors of cake equal to the size of one full cake. View this post on Instagram"
"For your style, certainly: You took the Starfish building, gutted it, built out the interior, and created an undeniably stunning venue, complete with orchid garden. For your way with fresh flowers and exotic animals, obviously -- don't think we've ever seen the combination of just-plucked lilies in a wall of bud vases and live giraffes at an opening before. For your sense of humor, most definitely; of course you should always serve popcorn shrimp spilling out of a movie container onto a bed of, well, popcorn."
"5 out of 5 stars Restaurants South Beach. Is there anything more American than a circus?. And is there anything in Miami’s culinary universe that resembles a circus more than Barton G?"
"They did a great job creating this restaurant in each details. Barton G's is know for it's presentation, it is over the top!"
"Tucked away in Little Havana, this small café and bakery is relaxed and unpretentious. Okay, the ambiance could use some work, but their service is warm and friendly, and you’ll find some of the best Cuban breakfast and lunch specials here. You can’t go wrong with the eggs, bacon or ham, fries, and Cuban toast breakfast combo, with the cafe con leche."
"Located a few blocks north of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables is Gusto Fino Italian Deli Café, is one of my favorite sandwich shops in the city. Serving a variety of classic Italian dishes and hot and cold sandwiches, the casual café, also offers a limited beer and wine list, as well as a breakfast menu. You’ll find delicious offerings like a classic New York Reuben sandwich or a hot pastrami sub."
"We visited the MOCA Museum Miami. At the time, the exhibit was SYNERGISM: Ekaterina and Victor Khromin. A story of how death took the life of Victor and how his wife, Ekaterina, continues his work through the process known as “Synergism.”"
"Wynwood is a hip neighborhood just north of downtown that features a beautiful fenced enclosure of some of the freshest art available. Wynwood Walls are a group of several building facades regularly painted by commissioned artists. No matter if this is the first or 100th trip to Miami, there is always something new to photograph and see."
"Admittedly, I was a bit hesitant when we first arrived in Wynwood. After parking in an enormous lot of an industrial-looking area, I found myself wondering where all the “pretty stuff” was. It was honestly a bit overwhelming."
"Our last day was spent at the creative Wynwood Walls art exhibit. Beautiful mosaics are spread across a few blocks on streets and on buildings, even on the sidewalks!"
"Dining here is like closing your eyes and suddenly finding yourself in Paris. Located in the prestigious Biltmore Hotel, this stylish restaurant features the skills of Michelin star-nominated chef Gregory Pugin and James Beard, both of them continually striving to create dishes that will make you feel as if you were on the Champs Elysées. Their traditional recipes are in line with contemporary trends and are scrupulously crafted using the freshest local ingredients."
"In the most opulent neighborhood of one of the showiest cities in the world, the Biltmore peers down its nose and says, ‘hrmph.’ It’s one of the greatest of the grand hotels of the American Jazz Age, and if this joint were a fictional character from a novel, it’d be, without question, Jay Gatsby. Al Capone had a speakeasy on-site, and the Capone Suite is said to be haunted by the spirit of Fats Walsh, who was murdered here."
"After all, it is the only hotel in Miami designated as a National Historic Landmark. (Psst: It’s also one of the most desired spots for wedding shoots.). 1200 Anastasia Ave, Coral Gables; biltmorehotel.com"
"Try the Yellowtail Sashimi Seviche with ginger, garlic and soy, or a tiradito such as Tuna with lemon and fuji apple vinaigrette. Also from the sushi bar … […]"
"Hotel: The Freehand is part hotel and hostel hosting a budget-friendly trendy accommodation option for guests. Rooms: Whether you are traveling solo or with a group, you’ll find a room to fit your needs from private rooms, quad, or ‘super 8’ options. Each room has private bathrooms, comfortable bedding and linens, privacy screens, and lockers."
"The Freehand Miami has got it all: an amazing location (five minute walk from Miami Beach), welcoming staff members, and modern comforts. It’s a bright and clean hostel with your choice of private rooms or shared dormitories. Enjoy the outdoor terrace with a pool, two craft cocktail bars, and an on-site restaurant."
"Freehand Miami bills itself as “a hostel for a new generation of travelers.” Indeed, a visit here confirms that it’s very far from the stereotypical dingy hostel. In fact, were it not for the shared rooms, the Freehand would likely fall into the “..."
"This well-known South Beach spot serves up authentic Haitian food in a warm and welcoming setting. Murals on the walls as well as Haitian art transport you to the Caribbean and live music on Thursdays and Saturdays adds a little extra pizazz to the overall lovely experience here. The marinated pork and malanga fritters are some of the best dishes at Tap Tap."
