15 Best Restaurants In South Beach You Must Try
"Restaurants Seafood Downtown. For years, the Epic Hotel’s rooftop bar and restaurant was a magnet for business types grabbing a drink after work in the area. But even without its beat-the-clock happy hour, Area 31 is still luring the locals with its unparalleled views of Downtown and well-priced bites and sips."
"Area 31 is on the 16th floor of the Epic Hotel, which means it boasts spectacular views across Biscayne Bay, Miami River, and the city skyline. The restaurant takes its name from Fishing Area 31, which is from where most of the ingredients are sourced. This area is an ecologically sustainable fishery."
"Come at night, enjoy the happy hour and city lights. All your friends will be wondering where did you take that picture."
"More of a Balinese garden than a bar, Sugar takes rooftop aesthetics to a whole new level. With 40th-floor views (from the EAST, Miami hotel), soothing decor, and dangerously strong lychee martinis, and tasty tapas, making an evening at Sugar is an exotic departure from the Miami norm. "Just north of the South Beach fray, The Broken Shaker is a laid-back, outdoor lounge in a palm tree-lined courtyard with string lighting overhead and eclectic patio furniture. The creative cocktail menu changes constantly and features fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and homemade syrups, infusions and bitters. Take the Dutch Kills cocktail, for example, which is made with Bombay Dry gin, star anise, fennel seed reduction, fresh citrus and pineapple juice."
"Freehand combines the luxury of hotels and the community mindset of a hostel in its four locations, all of which have a Broken Shaker. This particular one, true to its locale, rides the line between a posh Miami Beach environment and a Surfside aesthetic. With canopied patios and poolside drinks until 5pm, Broken Shaker manages to capture Miami in its atmosphere as well as in its rotating monthly and seasonal cocktails."
"This bar showed Miami just how delicious cocktails could be. This intimate, tropical outdoor bar that lives inside the Freehand hostel has become a must-visit for any informed drinker passing through the city. Thankfully, the bar hasn’t lost any of its magic over the years and remains the North Star of Miami cocktail culture."
"Hotel: The Freehand is part hotel and hostel hosting a budget-friendly trendy accommodation option for guests. Rooms: Whether you are traveling solo or with a group, you’ll find a room to fit your needs from private rooms, quad, or ‘super 8’ options. Each room has private bathrooms, comfortable bedding and linens, privacy screens, and lockers."
"The Freehand Miami has got it all: an amazing location (five minute walk from Miami Beach), welcoming staff members, and modern comforts. It’s a bright and clean hostel with your choice of private rooms or shared dormitories. Enjoy the outdoor terrace with a pool, two craft cocktail bars, and an on-site restaurant."

"Astra is a rooftop restaurant and lounge with a chilled out vibe, located in Wynwood, Miami. Serving Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on Greek flavors, Astra is the perfect place to watch the sunset, while enjoying great food. Astra's sky garden is decorated with foliage that complements the Mediterranean theme and offers stunning 360 views."
"Astra is a pretty massive place with proper tables and the right food menu. This 10,000 square feet bar has enough space to relax your food while taking a big view of the city. No huge building surrounds the Astra, so the picture is clear, and you can see till the skyline."
"Atop Italian hot spot, Sette Osteria, Astra, a chic outdoor lounge dishes out Mediterranean plates — like kebab and Psari (fish) — inventive cocktails — like tropical ouzo — and city views to an eager Wynwood crowd."
"A post shared by Minty Z Plant-Based Restaurant (@mintyzllc). Minty Z is a chill Miami eatery serving up vegan dim sum and plant-based Asian fusion in the heart of Coconut Grove. You’ll most likely want to plan your visit around one of their event nights, like Sake Cinema (that’s half-off sake, a dope movie, and complimentary spicy popcorn) or Wonton Wednesday ($1 wontons and half-off wonton soup)."

"A post shared by Izakaya Restaurant (@izakaya_restaurant) on Oct 17, 2017 at 7:19pm PDT. Su-Shin Izakaya in Coral Gables is one of those “If you know, you know” places. It doesn’t really promote itself, and the place has barely any social media presence; we found out about it through word of mouth."
"Izakayas – Japanese bars serving small plates that tend to go well with drinking – seem to be the latest trend. But Su Shin Izakaya, which opened in 1992, was way ahead of the curve. The lengthy menu ranges from sushi to ramen with lots of stops in between."
"Restaurants Chinese Midtown. Perhaps more notable for its glitterati crowds and over-the-top decor than its food, this international upscale chain does do several Chinese dishes exceptionally well. Much is still said about Mr Chow’s signature chicken satay, hand-pulled Singapore-style noodles and crispy duck, which are flavorful, delicately portioned and accompanied by a hefty price tag."
"A mix of old-school elegance and traditional recipes sets Mr. Chow apart as one of Miami’s chicest Chinese spots. Diners can feel fancy under a swank lighting fixture while munching on scallion pancakes, Mr. Chow Noodles, and a Peking duck that justifies the splurge. Available for dine-in, delivery, or takeout."
"The American alligator is one of Florida’s most iconic symbols, and the state’s swamps, rivers, and lakes are full of these impressive creatures that can grow to over 15 feet and weight more than 1,000 pounds. Located on SW 192nd Avenue in nearby Florida City, Everglades Alligator Farm gives guests a fascinating, up-close look into the lives of these toothy reptiles. The farm is home to thousands of gators, and though it’s not the cheapest attraction you’ll visit on your trip, it’s well worth it, especially for those traveling with kids who are into animals."
"Feel the thrill of the Everglades with an airboat ride and animal shows in South Florida's oldest gator farm. A Great Gator Adventure"
"This is a short 0.4-mile (0.64 km) easy rated loop trail that is flat and boarded. The elevated boardwalk trail goes directly over waterways of the national park while also giving chances to see wildlife. This is just one more quick trip into a better understanding of what is known as the Everglades."
"As the name suggests the trail gives you a glimpse into the Mahogany trees in the park including the largest one in the US. The 0.5 mile round trip trail is a boardwalk trail traversing through a hammock of trees."
"The Mahogany Hammock Trail is a 0.5 mile loop on a boardwalk through one of the Everglades' unique ecosystems—the Mahogany Hammock. On this trail, you'll see the largest living mahogany tree in the United States."
