Best Beach in Sawgrass Country Club

"In Ponte Vedra Beach, not far past the home of the PGA’s Player Championship at TPC Sawgrass, is another beautiful place to idle next to the Atlantic on a sunny day. There’s a wooden walkover crossing the dunes from the parking lot to the beach, which is long, sandy and clear of development apart from the grand beachfront houses poking up behind the dunes. Facilities at Mickler’s Landing include all the essentials like restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and this is another beach that accommodates cars (for a fee March to September)."

"Popular with surfers and wakeboarders, this beach on the southern side of Ponte Vedra Beach and just south of St. Augustine Beach is a great location for searching for seashells, using your metal detector for interesting finds or combing the sand for shark teeth. Horseback riding is allowed during designated times and so is driving on the beach. Pop over to Poppy’s Italiano or Bogey Grille for some grub after a long day soaking up sun."

"Tideviews Preserve is located at the end of West 1st Street and Begonia Street, west of Mayport Road. Tideviews Preserve consists of 8 acres of passive parkland. Tideviews offers a scenic view of the Intracoastal Waterway, 2500 feet of trail and boardwalk, restroom facilities, canoe launch, scenic overlook, a fishing area and public parking."

"There are 3 different beach entries to go to Guana Beach (North, Middle and South beach - in this order if coming from Ponte Vedra Beach). I usually shoot in North beach since it’s the closest to Jacksonville but after one of the hurricanes it was closed for a little while - then I used Middle or South beach locations. These 3 places are all very similar and I love the walkways leading to the beach."

St. Johns Town Center is close to the University of North Florida campus and has given rise to a shopping enclave between the Beaches and downtown, with an Ikea close by and a branch of TopGolf, which we’ll come to later. On St. Johns Town Center’s leafy streets (watch out for traffic) there are upwards of 170 tenants, with a fair few luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Michael Kors and Tiffany & Co."

"The St. John’s Town Center is a high-end, open-air marketplace in Jacksonville. It has a whopping 167 stores, some of which include posh boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., and Mayors. The marketplace looks really classy and features some amazing stores."
