The Best Food in Miami: 21 Must-Eat Dishes to Add to Your List
"If you can judge a doughnut by the number of people waiting in line to eat it, consider these rounds the best in town. Tucked inside a charming Wynwood storefront, the Salty Donut whips up treats in flavors like guava-cheese, maple bacon and Nutella-stuffed. But the real winner here is the tres leches doughnut, made with white chocolate and lots of cream and then torched to perfection."
"Forget everything you think you know about coffee and donuts. The Salty Donut, with multiple locations, serves up some of the most innovative donuts and coffee in Miami. The family-owned Salty Donut focuses on artisanal donuts made in small-batches and 100% from-scratch."
"The Salty Donut is worth a visit for one thing and one thing only: legendary doughnuts. With flavors like guava and cheese, maple and bacon, tres leches and Nutella, you’d be hard-pressed to go wrong."
"Zak the Baker's Technicolor building is just billed as "bakery" on the outside—a sign of false modesty if ever there was one. Zak's is known for its world-class bread, which some of the city's best restaurants order to serve to their customers. Here at the mothership, though, the painstakingly made pleated loaves are topped with corned beef or avocado, and rye bread, chocolate babkas, and quiche all fly off the shelves."
"Zak Stern has found overwhelming success with this kosher café in Wynwood. Having started as an artisanal baker pedalling sourdough loaves at farmers' markets, Zak now has a loyal following, with a line out the door at lunchtime. In addition to his comforting baked goods, the café serves daily sandwich, soup, salad and quiche specials."
"Come for a loaf of sourdough (or a good ol’ pastrami sandwich), stay for the sweet-smelling aroma of freshly baked breads and pastries that fills the café all day long. Currently offering delivery and take-out. 295 NW 26th Ave.,Wynwood; 786-294-0876 or zakthebaker.com"

"St. Barts challenges the idea that beachside dining has to make your wallet cry. There are no tears here, just fresh, affordable coffee and chocolate cafe mocha. Anyone eschewing caffeine can grab a 16-ounce Tropical Tango or Strawberry Sunrise smoothie, or settle in with the Farmer’s Favorite, a bagel piled high with eggs, bacon, cheese, and chopped salad."
"Marie Antoinette's Head is made of cotton candy, and surrounded with strawberry shortcake for the guests to eat. This crazy dessert is definitely one for the books as it is just one example of the many insane treats you can find at this restaurant."
"5 out of 5 stars Restaurants South Beach. Is there anything more American than a circus?. And is there anything in Miami’s culinary universe that resembles a circus more than Barton G?"
"Various LocationsAsk any ex-Floridian what they miss the most, and 90% of the time the answer will include an item from this beloved grocery store’s deli section. Here, you’ll find a bevy of hot items (you can smell the crispy-skinned chicken fresh out of the fryer all the way from the dairy aisle) plus a decked-out sub station. Choose from either Publix brand deli meats and cheeses or splurge for Boars’ Head and while the meats might be delicious, the order that reigns supreme will always be the chicken tender sub."
"This Southern supermarket chain is famous for its fried chicken. No matter where you are in Miami, you’ve got a Publix nearby. Snag a hefty chicken-stuffed sandwich or a combo with a side of mac and cheese and biscuits."
"Back in 2010, Kitchen 305 began offering all-you-can-eat nights, alternating in season between stone crab and Maine lobster. Two years later, the lobster scene exploded, and now it's such an extravaganza that the owners--who receive anywhere from 400-800 reservations for these evenings--open two extra dining rooms with banquet furniture on lobster nights. It's like attending a wedding with as many one-pound lobsters as you like served to you."
"The award winning Honeybee Doughnuts is located in South Miami and The Falls. Honeybee Doughnut boasts over 18 flavors served daily in addition to their speciality and seasonal flavors. They also serve Panther Coffee, (a Miami favorite) and doughnut ice cream sandwiches with vanilla or Matcha ice cream, doughnut milkshakes and delicious bubble tea!"
"If you’ve never been to Honeybee, it’s about time you head to South Miami. Inspired by countless hours in the kitchen with her European grandmother, Karen Muirhead has brought some of that Euro flair to the Magic City. Enter this small shop and indulge your craziest doughnut fantasies on daily basis."
"A post shared by Bucks Crêpes ™ The Original (@buckscrepes) on Aug 12, 2019 at 11:57am PDT. Savoury (galette) and sweet crepes from an unconventional creperie!. The crepes are made rectangular and folded unlike the usual out from healthy gluten-free buckwheat."
"We spotted Hoffman's Chocolates while we were walking back to our hotel and peaked in to see all the delicious chocolates. We were full from our treats at the coffee shop, so we didn't buy anything but we did try some of their chocolate samples and they were divine!. They also served ice cream, which seemed to be pretty popular with the customers."
"With its creative design and many amenities, Fussé Studios can serve as a boutique photo studio, a chic event space, an art gallery, and so much more!"
